Twelve Kingdoms is among one of my favorites. I really like the book and the anime, but for different reasons.
Yoko though... She's my absolute favorite wow what a badass.

I wasn't originally planning on painting this, but in the end I became really inspired, last minute decisions are really crazy. In any case I plan on selling prints of this, so if you are interested in one please let me know!
